"And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear." Isaiah 65:24 (KJV)
Have you ever felt like it's too late to pray? Like you waited too long, and something is about to happen... but it would be too late for God to answer your prayer? I've felt that way, but you know what I told myself? It's not too late, because God knew I was going to pray before I prayed. He knew what I would request before I requested it, so He was prepared to answer the call. The devil would have you believe that it's too late to pray, but take it from me: It's better to pray "late," than never. God is able to answer your prayer, even if you wait what seems to be too long.
Of course it's always better to pray as soon as humanly possible over any situation... But not because God isn't able to answer a "late"
prayer, but because it's about coming to Him first. It's about trusting the Lord. Don't ever let anyone or anything keep you from praying. For
you school children out there, where prayer is "banned..." you can still say a silent prayer to yourself. Nobody can keep you from praying, and I
hope that you don't let anyone keep you from it. We need prayer just as much in school as we do out of it, and I don't care who disagrees. I wish I
would've known the Lord when I was going to school, because I sure could've used a prayer line. The Lord hears your call to prayer, whether it be
late or whether it be silent. He knows your heart, and He knows what you're going to say or do even before you do it.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message and for all things. Please forgive us of all our sins as we forgive all those who've sinned
against us. Help us to trust in you and to never feel like it's too late to pray. Also, may we always have the confidence that you hear our cry even when
it's a silent one. In Jesus name. A-men!
