You know what's funny, but sad also? The fact that people question the Word of God, when it is unquestionable. They debate it, when it is undebatable. People say it isn't true, you have these new religions coming out by the day it seems... But one thing remains the same. One truth stands from generation to generation, and that's the Holy Bible, the Word of God. God promised that His Word would never pass away, and it is fulfilling that promise. Who here can debate anything in the Word of God? Who can question it? Everything it says has either come to pass or is on the verge of doing so. Do you see a pattern people? I mean, maybe there's something to this! It's foolish to question God's Word, the one thing... THE one book that has stood the test of time. Don't think for a minute that it's us Christians keeping this book around, there aren't enough of us around at any one time. You can say what you want, do what you want people, but you can't rid the earth of God's Word and I bet that just drives some of you crazy.
As for me, it gives me a peace and assurance that what I believe in is the truth. How many of you following other religions can really say you have peace and assurance that what you believe in is true? I've seen my God in action, I've prayed to my God and He answered my prayers and even healed me. What if anything has your gods done for you? I'm reminded of when Elijah mocked the people who had false gods. He prayed for rain to the true God and God gave it, but when the false prophets prayed to their false gods they got nothing. Elijah told them to say it louder, maybe their god didn't hear. He said maybe their god was sleeping. Of course he used sarcasm, because we all know that their gods didn't even exist. One thing that our current President said that I have to disagree on, is that all religions serve the same God. How can that be? How can that be when all religions require something different and often opposite of the other? God doesn't contradict Himself. I hope He was confused and meant to say that there is only one God... That I would agree with. You can refuse to accept God and follow His ways, but if you think long and hard you can't honestly deny His existence and you honestly can't deny that the God of the Bible is the true and only God. The one thing that remains is God's Word.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message and for all things. Please forgive us of all our sins as we forgive all those who've sinned against us. Help us to have no doubts in our mind that you are God and that there is no other god beside you. For those who don't believe in you, even as we speak show them that you are real. In Jesus name. A-men!
