I am thankful that our God is a God who provides for our needs. I was stressing some this morning, thinking about unpaid bills and a shrinking bank account.
But you know what? My Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and His Word says "I have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging
bread" (Ps 37:25). It also says in Phil 4:19 that "And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." It
doesn't say some of our needs, it says ALL! We need to separate needs from wants, and recognize the difference. But God does provide! He is our Provider!

Today, I am thankful that we have a God who sees (Gen 16:13). He sees us in whatever difficulty we are having, and if we look at Him while in the problem, we
see His glory as He shows us a solution or a way out of the problem. Thank you God, for seeing me!

I'm thankful that when God asks us to do hard things, He gives us the strength to do what He has called us to do. Today, I went to visit an older lady from
my church who's strength has been failing. Since I'm still recovering from the pneumonia and severe breathing problems I developed back during the
winter, it takes a lot of effort for me to go out when the weather is as hot as it is here (100 degrees today). But I did what God wanted me to do, and I went
to visit Laverne, and I was so blessed by my visit with her. She claims she was the one who got blessed. Either way, God is good. He gives us the strength to
do what He asks us to do!

My dad will be ninety one August 18th.
He hasn't had his favorite fish, trout, in many years and today my wife and I got to take him with us while I caught four really nice sized trout. He can't fish for himself because his legs give out on him every so often, though he did follow us along the brook and had a really great time together with us. I really thank the Lord for this simple yet wonderful event. Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

LOL, you don't know what you're asking for.
He can talk the ears off an elephant. Without taking a breath. He does love to converse and has so much to offer any one willing to listen. He worked for 25 cents a week when he was a young boy. Can you imagine that? Then again, back then 25 cents was worth about what fifteen dollars is today. Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

This week it has rainned more than what we have seen in a while here in
northern California. It is a blessing for we need it to help our dry land and that's why we've had so many fires throughout the state, because
everything is so dry. Thank you Father for sending us your refreshing rain--water from heaven.

I want to say I am so thankful that we are
children of a living God, who is alive and always with us. Today me and my daughter were discussing the fact that we have decrease of money coming in next
month to live on and our rent next month will be going up also. So, at the end of the discussion I told my daughter that God will see us through as He always
does and we will get by. Then not but five minutes later the phone rang and it was about a new job where my daughter will make money on for making a web site
for a friends new business. By the way the money will more than cover our income loss and rent increase, so we will be fine after-all. God sees our heart, and
when we stand on faith and trust in Him--He rewards us. Our Father above wants only the best for (us) His children. So we don't always have to try and
figure out everything, instead we just need to trust that He is faithful. Thank you Lord!!!

I'm thankful that if we let Him, the Lord speaks to us through His word. This morning in my Bible reading, I came across words that jumped off the page to
me. Jeremiah 23:23-24 says ""Am I a God who is near," declares the LORD, "And not a God far off? Can a man hide himself in hiding places so
I do not see him?" declares the LORD. "Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?" declares the LORD.
Sometimes, particularly when our souls are hurting, we have the tendency to cut ourselves off from other people and even from God, but God is saying even in the most difficult of circumstances, He is still right there beside us. Nothing we feel, nothing we think, nothing we are is hidden. We can't hide who we are from God. But the reverse of this is true as well. To those who choose NOT to honor God with their lives, He is still watching you. He still sees what you do. You can't hide from God. I am thankful that God has chosen to honor His word, even above own His name. (Psalm 138:2). He has said it, and He WILL do it. |

I am so thankful that we have such a loving and caring God. He does not change or base His love or mercy upon what we do, but
always is there for us with open arms. Each day God works miracles to let us know that God is alive and here with us today and ever-more, and he will never
forsake us. What joy it is to know God and to be His child. I am so thankful for God in my life each and everyday. Rejoice and let the Lord know how much you
appreciate Him, for we are truly blessed.
Recently our family's income has been greatly reduced from what is was, ordinarily in the past I would be freaking out wondering how in the world I was going to make ends meet. When I trust in God, He blesses us for our faith in Him. What came to mind is where King David, in the Old Testament, could of asked God for riches and glory but instead he asked God for His wisdom, to rule over the people with God's guidance so he could be a good king. In turn God rewarded David's prayers and blessed him with riches beyond his dreams. This example was written for us to learn by; God will take care of all our financial, our personal, and our required needs if we trust in Him, for God sees our needs and knows how to care for us better than we ourselves. But when God cares for us, He will provide for us beyond what we could have imagined. That is what God has been doing in our household. Each month we don't see how our money will cover all our expenses, but little by little the Lord provides us with a way to cover all our expenses monthly where we come out with money left over at the end of each month. God will always be there. So whatever is happening in your life, step back and allow God to work in your life and you will step into a relationship that will bring you closer to God. God is alive and we worship a living God, not just some empty idol, but a all seeing, all living, never changing God, who can touch our hearts and make us alive in His Spirit.
