I too am very thankful for second chances. Bebo Norman has a song from 10 or more years ago called "A page is turned", and part of the song says
"The God of second chance has picked him/her/them up and let him/her/them dance". I like that song.

Today, I am thankful that our God is a God who heals. I've been sick and in the hospital. I got to come home today, so I wanted to see what was happening.
This place was very quiet with David gone. I'll get back to the study on Romans on Monday.

I am okay now, just short a pair of toes that God decided I no longer needed. I can walk/dance/jump for joy just fine without them! But the infection
wasn't any fun. I'll be on IV antibiotics for several more weeks. But I'm going back to work on Monday!
Today, I am thankful that God has a plan for each of our lives. Did you know that before He ever made us, God planned good works for us to do, and then He designed us with all the qualities and characteristics we would need to do them? Read Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works that He determined beforehand, that we should walk in them! Now, I'm off to find that next "good work" that He planned for me! |

I am thankful that we have hope for the terrible trouble that is coming our way.

Well, to be honest... This week I can truly say that I'm thankful to be alive. The enemy put me through the ringer, I've been feeling like I was going
to die! Yes, that bad for some reason and I was scared that my paranoid thoughts were true. I'm fine now, thank God!

Yesterday (4/24) was my birthday I am still alive and so grateful to be a child of God. It is so wonderful to see all the things the Lord has done for me this
year. God has restored my family where my siblings all called me to wish me a happy birthday which is a miracle, where as before we didn't speak to one
another. My dad passed away this year, but several months before he did he came to know the Lord as his Savior and experienced God's comfort while in the
last stages of his cancer. Three of my children know the Lord; one son rededicated his life to the Lord this year, while another son is closer to being
restored than in the past several years, and my daughter and son-n-law continue to grow closer to Jesus day by day. God is good and I have so much to be
thankful for and I owe it all to the Lord.

I am thankful that no matter how bleak our present circumstances may look that I need not worry, but that I can rely, trust and still have that peace and joy
from God no matter what is going on around me or in my life. My state of California is going through such a financial ruin now that it is beginning to effect
my quality of living. I know that God will provide me with the necessities.
