That's true Dave, I am also thankful that I have food. It is funny how you can always look around and see others that live a luxurious life style where I
do not. I live a simple life where I have to look to Jesus and rely on Him to help me meet my basic needs. I am so thankful that the Lord never lets me go
without those necessities. That saying the grass is always greener on the other side of fence, but once you are on the other side of the fence you start
appreciating what you had before. That life of luxury doesn't mean a thing is you don't have Jesus in your life. I am not only thankful for the big
things but the little things that the Lord does for me everyday, which all adds up to a lot. Thank you Lord.

I am thankful to be proud to live in this country again. I am thankful that God always makes the right decisions for us. I am thankful he has changed my life

I'm thankful for being happier than I have been. Feels like I came out of a "great depression." A lot of it has to do with this forum and being a
part of such a great community of believers.

My dad seems to be doing better who is at home with cancer where a hospice nurse comes because he wants to stay at home. Well each time I call him he seems
happier and I am thankful that he is believing God for courage and strength.

I was able to help my daugher put a mini van on hold today so that she can have transportation for her family..
For that I am thankful to the Lord. Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Everyone has some really great stories here, I'm thankful to hear of how the Lord is working in peoples' lives...
I'm also thankful for another way the Lord has given me today to expand our ministry. By tomorrow or the next day http://www.PraisePage.net will be open for business! Pray that plenty of artists sign up to share their Christian music with the world for free. It'll promote new Christian artists and at the same time give listeners a blessing. |

I am thankful for my family, for my boys with whom God entrusted in my care. Our youngest has alot of health issues. And I thank the Good Lord that He gave my
little boy a heart of compassion and hope. This little boy teaches us every day on how to live by faith and hope, but most of all, Love. Thank You Lord.

I'm thankful to be living in a house, to have food, and clothing. I'm always thankful for family and friends (Which includes everyone here.)

I am thankful that, even when I don't act very loving, I still have a very loving heavenly Father who loves me more than anyone else here on this planet.
And no matter where I go, no matter where I am, He is right here with me, through the Holy Spirit.

Well, I'm thankful that this past week is done with. It has been very difficult, but I'm not willing to discuss the happenings openly yet. There is
still alot to be resolved with my family.
But what I'm most thankful for today is the fruit of the Holy Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. As we walk with the Lord, the Holy Spirit begins to place these qualitites in our life, and we don't have to "work" for them, they just begin to grow. Our "work" is to walk IN THE SPIRIT, not in the flesh. Walking in the Spirit means walking by what we know to be the will of God - loving God as much as we can, and loving others (being concerned for others) the same way we love ourselves. On these two principles hang all of God's laws and ordinances. If we don't have this basic love for God and others, we've missed EVERYTHING God has for us. |
