Wow, there's a concept for you... Christians telling people about Jesus instead of themselves! So many believers are preaching about themselves, trying to prove themselves to be more spiritual than the next guy. This isn't the way it's meant to be. We're supposed to be leading people to Christ, and not away from Him. With the Church's self-righteous attitude, we have driven millions away from Christ. If today's church was a taxi service, we would've made trillions of dollars driving people from the house of the Lord to somewhere else (Anywhere else.) In other words, some of us are doing business for the enemy (Satan.) We're driving people away from Jesus into the house of Satan. This has got to stop!
Some people I've talked to get pretty hostile when you say you're a Christian... They think that all Christians think they're better than they are. This IS the attitude we've been showing towards them as a whole, and this is unacceptable. This is not the way Jesus taught us to be. We have to bring people to Jesus and we have to do it by being selfless. We have to stop preaching about ourselves, and start preaching about Jesus Christ. We have to stop living for ourselves, and start living for Jesus Christ. If we don't do this, then take a look at all the people around you: Most of them will end up in Hell because of our bad example, because we didn't bring them to Jesus Christ. Because we were too into ourselves and not into Jesus enough. So, get into Jesus! If you're into Jesus then it will be Him that you talk about.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message and for all things. Please forgive us of all our sins as we forgive all those who've sinned against us. Help us to preach you and not ourselves. Draw us closer to you, and guide our every step. Bring a spiritual revival in this world like never seen before. In Jesus name. A-men!
