"For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?" 1 Corinthians 3:3-4 (KJV)
If there's one particular thing that really bugs me about churches today, it's the division. You have all these denominations, we might as well be gangsters, we fight amongst ourselves like gangsters when one denomination disagrees with the other. Thankfully for the most part we don't kill each other. Why can't we all just believe what the Bible says and follow it?
And another thing that bothers me is those that won't even associate with people in other denominations. I believe that there are saved Christians in
just about every denomination. We do have one thing in common after all, we've accepted Jesus Christ into our hearts. Maybe if we all just got together
and read our Bibles together, we'd see the truth and know the truth. No matter what your denomination teaches you, if it doesn't go along with the
Bible then it's wrong! Your denomination NEVER has authority over God's Word. God's Word is the ultimate authority.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message and for all things. Please forgive us of all our sins as we forgive all those who've sinned
against us. Help us to know your Word, and to live by it. Also, help us the church to be united. In Jesus name. A-men!
