"The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under
tribute." Proverbs 12:24 (KJV)
No matter what you do in life, if you want to be successful in it then you need to be dilligent. You can't sit around doing nothing and expect something to happen or expect something to fall into your lap. If you want something bad enough, you'll work for it... You'll earn it!
Our country is a good example. Those who have been dilligent and worked hard are on top. They're the judges, lawyers, doctors, and even future Presidents. Those who were slothful are the ones who are barely making ends meet, because they didn't choose to make something more of themselves. That's not always the case, but a lot of times it is. The point is that we can't complain about the hand we've been dealt... What we have to do is reshuffle the deck and redeal the cards! Work hard and do something with yourself, don't wait for a hand out!
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message and for all things. Please forgive us of all our sins as we forgive all those who've sinned against us. Help us to be dilligent in all that we do, don't let us be slothful people who expect something for nothing. In Jesus name. A-men!
