Hi, David. And thanks for the welcome.
(29) You hide Your face, they are dismayed;
William of Pompano
And he is arrayed in a garment sprinkled with blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
(Rev. 19: 13) |

I think about this a little differently. Paul wrote, in 1 Cor 2:14 "But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are
foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.". People who have not been spiritually born can't see or
appreciate the things of God, because it takes "spiritual eyes" to see them. The things of the kingdom of God (righteousness and peace and joy in the
Holy Spirit from Rom 14:17) cannot be seen or appreciated by people in the world - they are visible only to those born of the Holy Spirit of God (i.e.,
believers in Jesus).

"Except a man be born again, he cannot see..."
(2) Does "see" mean "to experience" righteousness, peace, and joy? (3) What does a person "see" or even experience when dead and supine in the grave? (Ecclesiastes 9:5)
