Some of us are deceived, deceived to believe that it's supposed to be easy to be a Christian. This verse mentions overcoming, overcome what? If Christianity is easy, then what is there to overcome? But guess what? It's not easy, so there's plenty to overcome! We go through many trials as believers, and we are persecuted by many people. Each trial and persecution we will be rewarded for. If we overcome then we will have eternal life...
BUT if we give up, no matter how much we've endured before we gave up... It's all for nothing. You could live for Jesus for 75 years and then stop
the last 2 years of your life and guess what? You miss out on God's Kingdom, you miss out on eternal life. So, no matter how difficult things get we can
NEVER give up! We must endure until the end. We must overcome, but it's not impossible because Jesus has overcome for us. We just have to have faith in
Christ.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message and for all things. Please forgive us of all our sins as we forgive all those who've sinned
against us. Help us to keep our faith in you and to overcome and endure until the end. Don't let us give up, give us strength to carry on. In Jesus name.
