I love this scripture, it's one of my favorites. Also, notice the number of the verse... It's no accident that there are 3 threes in it. Three is
one of the Lord's favorite numbers, but that's another subject. The Lord wants to give us wisdom, show us things that we didn't know. Wisdom is

Yes, I agree with you Lori about the book of Proverbs. When I think about wisdom I think about the book of proverbs and King Solomon.

It is awesome how the Lord blesses us with His wisdom.

Very nicely put David and Lori, thanks. What encouragement the Lord is to us. He will supply all our needs if we will only reverently come to Him and believe
in what we ask Him. Many times I do not know what I really want or need and that's when I just pray and ask the Lord to fill my heart with His love and
guidance. Trusting in Him that he will take care of all my needs. What a loving God we have who will heal, mend, and restore us into His blessed children.

God Bless, Karen

The single greatest source of wisdom in the world is the Book of Proverbs. It tells us many things which DEMONSTRATE WISE LIVING. If we will take the book of
Proverbs and memorize it, meditate on it, and just generally make it's principles a part of our nature, we will begin to live wisely. The fear of the Lord
is the beginning of wisdom, but that is not where it ends. We will never gain wisdom until we develop a reverence for God and for His word. Beyond that, James,
the brother of our Savior, states in his book, "If any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will
be given to him." (James 1:5). We need to always ask God for wisdom when we need to make a decision of any kind. Since I tend to operate on automatic
throughout my day, I tend to ask God in the morning when I have my quiet time to give we wisdom in all my actions. I can't say I always LISTEN, but I do
ask.

something I pray for everyday before writing the devotion. A lot of times when writing, I feel like the Lord has taught me something. That's one reason I
don't give this writing up, even if none of you read it I think I'd still do it: Because when the Lord gives me even a little of His wisdom it's
like finding a great treasure. It's like "Oh wow! I didn't know that, that makes so much sense!" It's like a revelation, things come
together and things start making sense when the Lord gives us wisdom. His...
