I am so thankful that we have such a loving and caring God. He does not change or base His love or mercy upon what we do, but
always is there for us with open arms. Each day God works miracles to let us know that God is alive and here with us today and ever-more, and he will never
forsake us. What joy it is to know God and to be His child. I am so thankful for God in my life each and everyday. Rejoice and let the Lord know how much you
appreciate Him, for we are truly blessed.

Recently our family's income has been greatly reduced from what is was, ordinarily in the past I would be freaking out wondering how in the world I was
going to make ends meet. When I trust in God, He blesses us for our faith in Him. What came to mind is where King David, in the Old Testament, could of asked
God for riches and glory but instead he asked God for His wisdom, to rule over the people with God's guidance so he could be a good king. In turn God...

I'm thankful that if we let Him, the Lord speaks to us through His word. This morning in my Bible reading, I came across words that jumped off the page to
me. Jeremiah 23:23-24 says ""Am I a God who is near," declares the LORD, "And not a God far off? Can a man hide himself in hiding places so
I do not see him?" declares the LORD. "Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?" declares the LORD.

Sometimes, particularly when our souls are hurting, we have the tendency to cut ourselves off from other people and even from God, but God is saying even in
the most difficult of circumstances, He is still right there beside us. Nothing we feel, nothing we think, nothing we are is hidden. We can't hide who we
are from God.

But the reverse of this is true as well. To those who choose NOT to honor God with their lives, He is still watching you. He still sees what you do. You
can't hide from God.

I am thankful that God has...

children of a living God, who is alive and always with us. Today me and my daughter were discussing the fact that we have decrease of money coming in next
month to live on and our rent next month will be going up also. So, at the end of the discussion I told my daughter that God will see us through as He always
does and we will get by. Then not but five minutes later the phone rang and it was about a new job where my daughter will make money on for making a web site
for a friends new business. By the way the money will more than cover our income loss and rent increase, so we will be fine after-all. God sees our heart, and
when we stand on faith and trust in Him--He rewards us. Our Father above wants only the best for (us) His children. So we don't always have to try and
figure out everything, instead we just need to trust...

He can talk the ears off an elephant.

Without taking a breath.

He does love to converse and has so much to offer any one willing to listen.

He worked for 25 cents a week when he was a young boy.

Can you imagine that?

Then again, back then 25 cents was worth about what fifteen dollars is today.

My dad will be ninety one August 18th.
He hasn't had his favorite fish, trout, in many years and today my wife and I got to take him with us while I caught four really nice sized trout.
He can't fish for himself because his legs give out on him every so often, though he did follow us along the brook and had a really great time together
with us.

I really thank the Lord for this simple yet wonderful event.

I'm thankful that when God asks us to do hard things, He gives us the strength to do what He has called us to do. Today, I went to visit an older lady from
my church who's strength has been failing. Since I'm still recovering from the pneumonia and severe breathing problems I developed back during the
winter, it takes a lot of effort for me to go out when the weather is as hot as it is here (100 degrees today). But I did what God wanted me to do, and I went
to visit Laverne, and I was so blessed by my visit with her. She claims she was the one who got blessed. Either way, God is good. He gives us the strength to
do what He asks us to do!
