I have recently experienced another death of someone close to me. Many of you know I lost my mother, but I have also lost a close family friend back in March, and most recently, a woman I physically cared for. All these within the last year. Grief is an emotion I am very familiar with right now. Yet, for all this, God has given me a peace even I don't understand, and this peace is guarding my heart and keeping my focus on Jesus. In dealing with these deaths, I have a hope that I will see each of these beautiful women again, because they all trusted in God, and God has promised this - that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
