I grew up in the Church of Christ. At the age of 8 I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I was then water baptized. I felt so clean when I came up out of the water. Even though I just given my heart to the Lord, I was not a very strong Christian. I had a problem with lying. I believe in Jesus but did not really know Him.

At the age of 15 my grandma gave me a book called Angels on Assignment. It was a story about a pastor having visitations from Angels. I thought that my grandma lost her mind to believe that angels would still visit someone in our time. When I was growing up everyone always called me "Graceful", or "Graceless". Always due to my constant falling and twisting my ankles. Nothing was ever done. It was just accepted as me being clumsy. As I grew up I faced multiple broken bones, mostly to my ankles. My back would occasionally hurt but was always passed off. Well it wasn't till I was 32 when my fourth child was born. My health started declining. We finally found a doctor that would take notice to what was going on and not just look at me and say nothing is wrong because I "look" fine. It was then that our youngest started having some serious health issues. One was Hydrocephalous . It was then that my family history had come into play. We learned that we had a connective tissue disorder . I turned 10 on Nov 12 and was still having the dreams and then on a Sunday Nov 14 during a sermon I could feel a tug at my heart a voice call to my I can help you come to me child. Call my name. It was Jesus. He wanted me. He love me. He could save me. I tell you I could not get there to the alter fast enough. Well I was saved asked Christ into my heart and had just turned 10 got baptized and was on cloud 9 I tell you. Could no be touched.

When I was 12 years old, I had a dream. And in this dream I saw Gates of Pearl, Streets of Gold and a face of a man.. I didn't understand this dream until many, many years later. But at 14 years old, on an altar at Antioch Baptist Church in Harlem, Georgia, I gave my heart to Christ.
I got out of church after I got married, got out in "The World" and did things I am not proud of. But in October of 2000, I got back in church, got my kids in church...my husband for a long time wouldn't go. He had an accident in Dec. of 2000, where he almost got killed. And he know that God allowed him to live for a reason. So he got in church, and we both Rededicated our hearts to Christ. It was about that time that I realized what that dream that I had when I was 12 years old meant.
